Pre Qualified MLM Leads Cost MORE. Why?

Are they worth it? And what makes pre qualified MLM leads so special? Time to find out...

Well, let's start out by first defining exactly what one of these puppies is. Pre qualified MLM leads are ones that have been 'previously qualified' by someone else, usually the company or person selling you the leads. And they have been confirmed to have an interest in MLM and everything that it includes.

They're not interested in rock gardening.

They're not interested in the fine art of cactus pruning.

They're not interested in helping felines cough up hairballs.

They are interested specifically in MLM. And they've said so.

So, exactly just how does one of these leads companies get a person who eventually became a pre qualified MLM lead to stick their arm up in the air and say "ME, ME!" to the question of "Who wants to be a pre qualified MLM lead???!!!"

Actually it's not done that way, almost, but not quite. pre qualified mlm leads gif1

I'll explain...

Pre qualified MLM leads can be generated in one of several ways.

The first way includes having the person respond to an ad online (or even offline). The ad could say any number of things.

'Would you like to work from your home?'

'Tired of the ol' 9 to 5?'

'Want to make more money and be your own boss?'

'Develop your own network of business associates and make money doing it!'

Or it could even say some sort of scammy stuff like...

'Online riches are only a click away! Click here NOW!'

Now please think of all of the short ads shown above. I ask you...

What kind of person would each of these ads have responding to it? Do you think that the 'online riches...' one would get a different kind of person than all of the other ones? I would agree.

This is a critical point to realize...

Exactly what kind of ad did the person respond to and what type of person is responding to that ad?

You might want to read that last sentence again. It's kind of a noodle bender. pre qualified mlm leads gif1

So it's not too hard to see is it - that leads that all of the first set of online ads would generate would be different than leads generated by the 'online riches' ad?

Now, if you happened to buy a set of 'pre qualified MLM leads' from the company selling pre qualified MLM leads generated by the last ad do you think those folks would be the tried and true business builders that would stick out building business with you? I don't think so. I hope you agree.

So first key point:

Know WHAT Your Leads Responded to and You'll KNOW Your Leads

Now, let's move on to the second point of knowing what you need to know about pre qualified MLM leads.

Specifically, just how are they 'pre qualified'?

Well, this usually is done by the company selling the pre qualified MLM leads. That company has someone actually contact the 'lead', usually by phone and ask them a bunch of questions. Or that company has the person fill out a form (online or offline) that requires them to answer a bunch of questions and surrender a bunch of information in exchange for some free software or free ebook or something along those lines.

All of the people who go through this process are put into the pre qualified MLM leads company's database of pre qualified MLM leads and end up being sold to buyers like you.

So exactly how do they become pre qualified MLM leads, that is, through what type of questioning/information surrendering process?

Well, they're usually asked a bunch of type questions like their name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. They're also asked about:

  • what they do for a living,
  • why are they looking for something else to make money at,
  • how much money they have to spend each month,
  • can they spend money over the next six months,
  • how much stick-to-it-ness do they have,
  • how many hours a week can they commit to working their biz, and,
  • are they open to receiving information from a number of different sources

This type of information is included as part of the information you receive for the more expensive pre qualified MLM leads that are offered for sale. Of course, you pay a pretty penny for this information since it does make the leads high caliber pre qualified MLM leads.

Or does it?

See, if the information is inputted by the future lead but is not reviewed and verified by anyone prior to your buying it, then you're going to be buying a lead that you can only hope answered those questions truthfully. And quite often this is not the case.

I remember buying pre qualified MLM leads from a company that said that the leads personally answered very specific questions, much along the lines of what was outlined above, in exchange for a free written report on home businesses.

This was at a home business type of seminar / convention.

  • These were folks who specifically wrote in the answers to the questions while the person staffing the booth watched.
  • These were folks who were described as being 'highly qualified' based on the questions asked and answered on the questionnaire the 'lead' filled out.
  • These folks were considered to be pre qualified MLM leads and very select and primed for MLM since they agreed to be contacted right away by folks wanting to do biz with them.
  • These folks agreed that they wouldn't be contacted more than three times by other folks wanting to do business with them.

Welllll....

I was 'one of those folks who would be contacting them because I was wanting to do biz with them'.

...And I paid several dollars for each one of those pre qualified MLM leads so as to be in that type of position with the leads.

...And I bought hundreds of those 'extremely pre qualified MLM leads'.

...And not one, not one, of those pre qualified MLM leads turned out to be what I was told they'd be. Actually not one of those leads turned out to be like what they answered those questionnaires and led the leads folks to believe they were like.

You see, they all just wanted to be given the free report that was laying out on the table at the convention. And for some strange reason they were willing to answer a short questionnaire in exchange for it. Even if they had to lie to get it.

...And lie they did. At least a lot of them did.

And again, how do I know they lied? Well, one example from many is...

One guy answered the question asked 'How much money do you have to put towards your own business?' with the answer '$5,000+'.

When I called him supposedly three weeks after the convention was held and 'lo and behold' he didn't have any money to do anything with. In fact, he was unemployed and had been so for some time now since they fired him from his last job as a burger flipper at the local fast food joint.

He may have been interested in home businesses. But I would not say this dude was actually as I was being told he was.

Please remember that this was fairly typical for the bunch of leads I bought. And it has happened before with other leads sources and actually it has happened since with a couple of other leads sources.

So what's my lesson for you with this second point?

Pre QUALIFIED MLM Leads Aren't Necessarily QUALITY MLM Leads

Now let's get on to the topic of the cost of pre qualified MLM leads.

As I mentioned earlier these puppies cost more than just plain old regular non pre qualified MLM leads. Why?

Because of some of the background work that goes on in order to make them pre qualified. Some leads sources use actual people to phone the lead before selling it to verify that they're hungry to do MLM or some other home business. And this takes time and money to pay that person to do this, so the cost is passed on down to you.

Other companies only share the leads with several people so that the lead becomes more exclusive and less 'pitched' over time. Since the leads company can't make tons of money selling and reselling the leads 50 times, they make it up again in higher cost to you. And the other few buyers.

And other companies spend a ton of money advertising to attract those elusive good leads and at the same time get them pre-qualified by filling out an online questionnaire. This advertising cost, again, is passed down through the higher cost of the lead to you and other interested leads buyers.

But please realize this...

Essentially what you'll find is that the leads source companies will tell you that you're paying more for their leads because the lead is of a 'higher quality'. Or so they say.

As was discussed above, this 'higher quality' and 'more hungry' business lead they're promoting to you, the leads buyer, doesn't always mean a better lead...

But it does mean a more expense lead. And you're biting the cost.

So, in the end - where does this leave you, the person buying the leads?

Hopefully it should leave you a little more wary of exactly what is going on with most pre qualified MLM leads that are being sold, at least, online. And also what you need to be aware of when buying your prequalified MLM leads.

You see, you can go out and spend your good money on finding a good pre qualified MLM leads source and cross your fingers and hope that when you contact those leads that you get at least a few interested in what deal you're in. Or you can read the fine print on the website and talk to the person running the leads selling site and find out for yourself just exactly what you need to know.

Perhaps you could ask the pre-qualified MLM leads sellers questions like these...

  • So, just how did you find four million people during the last six months who responded to your ad and expressed an interest in MLM?
  • You're telling me these pre qualified MLM leads are only two weeks old, so if I call a bunch of the leads and get a bunch of folks telling me that they already received dozens of calls during the last six months what will you say to that?
  • Just how many people are you selling these leads to before you 'retire' them?
  • How many phone disconnects am I going to get (a percentage) and what will you do to honor these type of dead-end leads... I mean I will be paying $10 for each of these leads so there should be some type of rock-solid guarantee if you truly back your leads like your website states you do?
  • Just exactly what type of ad did these folks respond to, and I mean all of them?
  • What type of person are they expecting to receive a contact from via email and or by telephone?

As you can see these types of questions are requiring very specific answers. And these answers contain the type of information that is usually not found on the website or in a brochure.

So it pays to do your homework and ask before digitally forking over some of your green stuff to them.

And by the way, if you want to just say 'to heck with all this' and instead learn to generate your own leads so that you don't have to worry about any of this stuff (since you generated them yourself) you could learn how to develop your own MLM leads generating system or you could learn how to do online MLM stuff in a totally new and cool 21st century kinda way from someone who knows this stuff.

And please do know that there is help available if you just want to become a better online marketer of your MLM deal and your personal website or if you just want to learn how to better do marketing on the Net.

You just have to know where to look for it.

So good luck, and remember that when it comes to pre qualified MLM leads, high cost doesn't always mean high quality - so stay aware and you won't get burned. pre qualified mlm leads gif1
