Learn more. NOW.The matrix is different amongst the MLM payplans. And something goes on with this type of pay plan that most are simply not aware of but that verges on the edge of being illegal. I'll explain this later so let's start at the beginning. A matrix is a pay plan that is fairly easy to explain to those you want to get involved with it. Why? Because it simply is a matter of getting a certain number of people on your front line, directly beneath you and duplicating that a certain number of levels beneath you and them. If you're in a four by seven matrix, for example, what that means is you will have people placed under you as they are sponsored into your distributorship until you have four on your frontline directly beneath you. Once this line is filled the next level will be filled, again, four wide, until you eventually have all seven levels filled with a grand total of 28 people in your organization. Once you have your required number of people in your matrix it is considered 'filled' and you either start over on your eighth level with a new matrix or you just let nature take it's course and let your organization grow. If it ever does.
But sometimes it's not set up that way. You get commissions on your seven levels and then your potential for income stops. If this is the case this is where 're-entry' into your own organization at the first level beneath your first filled matrix comes into play (and is used as an incentive to get many involved with matrix MLM pay plans). If you're a real go-getter and want to continue building your organization you would re-join beneath your first income center matrix and fill it all over again. And when that matrix fills you'd do it again, if allowed. And again. ...And again. I've heard of company's that allow a person to 're-join' their organization up to five times. Now here is the interesting part that most don't know about...
But the reality of the situation is that in order to make money in any MLM pay plan a distributor, or representative, has to be buying product every month in order to qualify for commissions. (I think this is some government rule that makes it more legal to have this type of organization exist). Anyway,...
And all she sees is that she's allowed to have four more matrixes and when, not if, but when she gets those matrixes filled she'll be making just some serious green. But what she doesn't realize is that in order to have the other four matrixes she needs the same qualifying product purchases for each matrix. Essentially, if she ever does get to the point of needing to fill five matrixes then she'll need to be, forced to be, spending $1,250 per month on product purchases. Now, I know you might be thinking "Well, just think about how much money those five matrixes will be earning her in residual income. That $1,250 would be a spit in a bucket for her to pay wouldn't it?" Well, you are correct. When she's making $20,000 every month she won't be complaining about having to spend $1,250 in order to get that $20,000 every month. I wouldn't. But what the real issue here is is the potential legality of what is being represented. (And if I haven't told you elsewhere... I'M NOT A LAWYER. So if you want true legal advice I recommend you consult with one near you. So, continuing with this legality stuff...
They would think it's misleading to represent that this matrix MLM pay plan can have a potential payout of this huge dollar amount when, when, WHEN a person has all five matrixes filled but not clearly represent the financial commitment required to qualify for that income. Let's delve into another example...
And you're told that you can continue to fill a number of these to qualify for maximum commissions. Essentially what you are doing is you are making yourself one wide frontline if you're allowed to re-enter into a new matrix a number of times. So, if you're allowed to fill five matrixes that are four wide each and six levels deep - essentially you have a frontline of 20 people and 100 people in the remainder of your organization. But remember the real kick in the side of the head these MLM company's don't readily reveal?... You need to spend $1,250 to qualify for the maximum compensation plan payout. How many people do you think would join if in this hypothetical example of this matrix MLM pay plan the financial requirements were presented in this way? Not many. Maybe, say.... ummmm...no one?! "Hmmmm.... With only 120 people I get all the payout available.
Would YOU do it? I bet not. And would the government not think this was some sort of MLM money game where people were just in it for the money? I bet yes. I mean, come on...
Who really needs $1,250 of product every month from one company? If that person isn't doing some serious retailing of product every month, they must have one heck of a large extended family they're giving this stuff to that they get every 30 days. Think about it. Okay. Let's move on...
Spillover is something that also is used as a marketing tool to get folks interested in a particular payplan. Some people hear about this spillover stuff and then this aspect totally dictates their decision to join a program that uses a matrix MLM pay plan. So, to summarize... Why is all this even worthy of consideration and why might it be important to you? Good question. Here's my answer... You need to make certain, before you get in too deep, that the MLM pay plan you're doing is the best for you, is viable, and that the company is not going to get shut down for offering a payplan that is viewed by the government as being misleading. So you just might benefit from getting all the upfront education available to ensure that you do make a good and informed decision about the proper MLM pay plan for you. Especially when there are other MLM pay plans that offer the same level of commissions, some even higher commissions, with less qualification requirements. And how does one know this or find these MLM pay plans? Again, by doing their research and learning all one can about the differing MLM pay plans.
