Compressed MLM Pay Plans Pay LESS, Yet...
Compressed MLM pay plans give a BETTER chance at actually making MONEY. How do they do this? You might be surprised. And you might find yourself SWITCHING pay plans after reading this info.
I'll explain.
First, the compressed MLM pay plan is a newer type of plan that came about because of the dismal results that the vast majority of MLMers were having in MLM. It came about as a result of a need versus a want.
You see, before compressed pay plans sprouted up the existing plans basically were pretty lousy as far as allowing the majority of MLMers to make a few bucks back on their monthly product purchases. These older pay plans were all too hard to make work and those people who could make them work usually were the folks who came in from other organizations or had existing huge downlines.
This didn't bode well for the little person, or the person just starting out in MLM.
The grassroots distributor.
Someone like you. Right?
Well, the compressed pay plan came about and has been working well (so far) because the companies that are now using this pay plan realized, and became smart about it, that they had better use a plan that works for more folks than the other older poorer paying plans in existence.
The companies realized that they had better be thinking more about the distributor then themselves if they want to stay in business for any length of time, legally. And so compressed MLM pay plans were born.
Compressed pay plans are basically a hybrid of another MLM pay plan I discussed on another page of this website.
And that MLM pay plan is the unilevel pay plan.
Compressed MLM pay plans are similar to the unilevel type of plan in that a person gets as many distributors across each level as they so wish. And it has the benefits of the unilevel in that the person makes commission off of sales from many levels below their first level.
However, it does some things a little differently from the unilevel.
For one, it offers payout at a much higher level in the first few levels than the unilevel.
Compressed MLM Pay Plans are Structured So That the Distributor Who Does Not (Yet) Have a Large Downline or Is New to MLM Can Start Making a Profit Faster and Hopefully Stay in the Business Longer Since the Money Should Come in Faster
You see, as I explained on the unilevel page the problem with the old unilevel style of MLM pay plan is that the payout is spread out through many layers and so the ratio of distributor to commission is so high that it takes many distributors to even just make back the money a new distributor spends on monthly autoship purchases.
Let me share a little memory with you...
I remember finding a pay plan offering a telephone service that the payout was such that a distributor needed over 440 distributors in their organization just to make back their monthly qualification costs. And this was only about $23.95!
But a person had to dig to find this out. And they had to know what they were discovering when they found it or else they may have just gone ahead and blindly joined this MLM deal promising MLM riches but going to nowhere-ville.
Okay, end of memory.
Anyway, compressed pay plans are purposefully set up so a distributor can break even with just a few distributors. As little as three or four.
Now, as I said earlier...
The Compressed MLM Pay Plan Has the Distinct Advantage of Getting Money Into the Pocket of the New Distributor a Lot FASTER Than Other MLM Pay Plans. And This Is GOOD.
Why? Because it keeps distributor retention higher.
But there are sacrifices made in order for a company to make this possible. That is, the company has to take some money from elsewhere in the payout structure in order to make this type of from-the-get-go lucrative MLM pay plan possible.
And where do they take it? They take it from the deeper levels.
Now, with the pay plans that I've seen they don't eliminate the possibility of making money at the deeper levels. They just make the payout less than if the plan weren't a compressed MLM pay plan.
And what does this mean to most distributors?
Nothing.
So, then who does this impact?
The heavies.
The hitters.
The heavy hitters.
The big guns.
The big money earners.
They're the ones who miss out on some payout that they would get in other payout plans.
You see, the person who is able to maximize this pay plan may not make as much as if that person were working another pay plan. But I think the compromise made here more than makes up for that.
And what is that compromise? The heavy is almost guaranteed to have a downline that stays in place and doesn't erode over time. This is because the heavy's downline will be made up of a lot of little downline builders.
Maybe you?
And these little downline builders will stick things out since they're making money from the get-go.
And what do a lot of sticking around little downline builders make? They make a sticking around BIG downline for the heavy hitters.
Easy to see, right?
Well, there's one more thing you should know...
Now, I know that if you detail this stuff at other websites you'll no doubt come across other descriptions and comparisons of this MLM pay plan versus other MLM pay plan types. And the other information you find may be doing a bit of number crunching to compare two pay plans with the compressed MLM pay plan being one of the types compared.
And the information may lead one to say...
"Hey wait a minute. If I had 817 people in my downline in this unilevel and my group was 36 levels deep I'd be making $25,000 a month. But in this compressed MLM pay plan I'm only being paid on 5 levels of depth with a little bit of infinity bonuses and other stuff. And I'd only be making $8,500 a month. Hmmm....."
Now, let me ask you dear reader. Which one would you want to get into?
On the surface and as you just read it seems like a no-brainer. The $25,000 a month plan is the way to go right?
I mean, let's face it - we're all in this for the money... right?
Well, on the surface that may be true. But let me inform you that the chance of making it to the $25,000 a month level in a typical MLM pay plan is just about zero versus a much higher percentage in the compressed MLM pay plan due to the points and benefits outlined above.
NOW how would you rate your decision?
You see...
Compressed MLM Pay Plans Do NOT Pay Out As Lucratively As Other MLM Pay Plans. That's a Fact. But...
...Compressed MLM pay plans make up for this with the realistic chance for a person to actually make that all-so-elusive residual income that everyone talks about in MLM.
And let me say that I'D rather be making $8,500 a month versus chasing that elusive $25,000 a month pipe-dream that probably will never come to fruition.
I'd rather be building a downline that will stay in place.
I'd rather be building a downline that benefits the majority of folks involved.
I'd rather be working a downline that doesn't screw the distributor at the expense of the company's profit margin.
I'd rather be in a pay plan, that so far is working out fairly well in the MLM field.
I'd rather be making, say, $8,500 a month versus the potential to make $25,00 a month if I happened to be the one-in-a-million distributors who makes it to the top as a heavy.
How about you?
Think about it. Seriously.
Then make a decision.
And remember, you can get more informed without first getting beat up out in the real world of MLM and MLM pay plans.
